We recently took a camping trip to Martin Dies, Jr. State Park about two hours north east of Houston. Here are a handful of the pictures I took from the weekend. We went camping with our small group friends from church, we had a blast. The mosquitos were absolutely awful but the food and company were great!
We also got to spend some time with our friend Chad Smith while we were camping. Chad has spent the last year living in Cambodia working to end sex trafficking with Agape International (http://agapewebsite.org/). It was interesting and encouraging hearing about what he has been doing in Cambodia over the past year. You took amazing photos! I camped in Hyde Park this spring…dont ask me anything, because camping in the middle of the London is just not the best idea. 😀

Love these photos! Particularly the one of the bridge. Surprising that open space like this exists so close to Houston – but encouraging. Is this the place that had a lot of mosquitoes?
