Well, once upon a time, me and some friends decided to hike Mount Zion right outside of Golden, CO. I also brought my camera along. The idea of the evening was to get up on Mount Zion before the sun set and get some sweet sunset pics of the sun as it set over the Rockies. When we got up there, we realized that there was a band of clouds lining the mountains that obstructed our view of the sunset. Talk about disappointing. This forced us to reevaluate the types of pictures we were planning on taking. We were no longer going to have an awesome sunset to shoot, so we got creative. I got one of my favorite pictures ever tonight. The picture of Jay standing against the clouds was absolutely spectacular. Anyways, these are some of the resulting images.
