The number one item on Hilary and I’s bucket list was Big Bend National Park. We were able to make the 9 hour road trip this February. It did not disappoint! It is the most beautiful place I have been in Texas to date. There was a little of everything in Big Bend. We spent 3 nights there, 2 nights we camped from car accessible spots and we spent one night backpacking into the Chisos Mountains. We also made our way to the south side of the park and swam in the Rio Grande and spent some time at the Boquillas Hot Springs.
