Grass

Week Six

Enjoy this new song by Bon Iver called Calgary.

Week Six(ish)

I’m going to try and keep this post short. Mainly because I’m on campus and I’m tired of being here and I want to go home.

The following pictures I took one afternoon while hiking out in the open space behind my new apartment. The sun was hanging out on the horizon as it was just about to set. The trail that I hiked up starts from the South-East side of the South Table open space in Golden. I just meandered hither and thither and took these pictures. I hope you like.

This first one is just a shot of the trail that I started on before I got bored of trails and left them behind.

Golden is abnormally green right now because of the massive amounts of rain we’ve been getting the past couple of weeks. I liked the following shot because of the contrasting browns and greens in the grass. Pretty neat, huh?

Do you know what would be a great capper to a great day? Seeing a wild animal…

My stuff. Well, not all of it.

Camera stuff

Hey look, a stick plant thing. How neat is that?

These next two pictures are my favorites from this weeks photo adventure. I took a picture of this tree whilst the sun was setting behind it. I thought it was kind of cool.

I don’t know what this next picture is, but I seen it so I took a picture of it. If only this car siding could rap, it would be as famous as 50 cent right now.

Car part

A bullet ridden car part. (Nikkor 50mm, 1/1250, F/1.8, -1 ev, ISO 200 on D5000)

Well, see you next week sometime.
